Millenials Kill, chapter 10

In this chapter you see more about Ken, who’s the best character in Millenials Kill (and in THYS). First, enjoy the chapter and then I’ll ramble on and on about Ken.

I'm sorry I'm too burnt out to write the alt texts.

Isn’t it great that Ken is such an entrepreneurial person! He’s going to make it big with this kind of spirit.

Who is Ken, what is THYS?

Ken was originally a character in my old comic Tosi Huono Yaoi Sarjis (THYS for short, from 2015). I needed two evil guys so I made Ken and Derek. They were just some dudes I needed for the sake of having some evil guys in the comic. Derek was actually even older character. He was a throwaway tough dude character for role playing games. Soon the two started having a life of their own.

THYS original panel, Ken and Derek are about to shoot Adin.
Ken’s and Derek’s first appearance in THYS. Yes, they were about to kidnap Adin there too.

When I decided to make Millenials Kill, I was thinking of all the chacters I want to include in it from THYS, and I knew I needed to have Ken and Derek here. They had a lot of comedic potential that wasn’t fully used in THYS. Now’s my chance to use them to their full potential!

Original panel from THYS. Derek isn't wearing a shirt and he says "And that's how we met. It was such a hot story I took my shirt off."
Derek used to wear a shirt! But after this panel it changed. I actually forgot to draw his shirt on and I was drawing with a marker, so only thing to save the situation was to make him say he took it off during the flashback.

What I really love about Ken is how batshit he is. He’s my most chaotic evil character. He could be very dangerous if he wanted to achieve something like world domination, but only thing he wants to dominate is the top 10 songs of all times -chart. His biggest ambition is to have a really cool emo band and if he needs Cecil for that, he’s going to do absolutely anything to get him to join.

If you’re interested in learning more about THYS, I wrote about in the first chapter of Millenials Kill. I also think I need to write more about it and maybe also release the full comic as a PDF, as it used to be on Smackjeeves and that site doesn’t exist anymore.

(Oh and don’t mind me reminding you of my Patreon real fast.)

Derek’s theme song

This tells everything you need to know about Derek and why he never has a shirt on.
